About the Program:
PromiseLand Learning Center was established in August 2002 as Promiseland Pre-School with 3 caregivers and 4 children. The motivation behind this initiative was to serve our community as an outreach to families in need of trusting and loving child care in the Central Austin area. Fourteen years have passed and we outgrew our facility. The “Infant Dream” has grown into the finest Learning Center in the Austin metroplex. We are now over 16,000 square feet, where we host our Infants, Toddlers and Pre-K Programs, and another large facility that includes an indoor gymnasium accommodates our After-school Program, and Summer Camp for school-age children. Our facilities are spacious, and the natural light makes it even more inviting and peaceful. We pay close attention to details, such as calming neutral colors on the walls, tasteful details in furniture and artwork, carefully placed to enhance the high ceilings, wood floors, and large glass windows. We take pride in all we do, from the smallest to the greatest accomplishments. It’s an honor to be able to serve Austinites like us, providing excellence in childcare, in a Christian family-oriented environment, where everyone has a voice, and we are all working together for the well being of our children. Our mission is to provide excellent care for young children. Excellence for us is based on the Martha Gerber philosophy of the 3 R’s for caring for children – Respectful, Responsive and Reciprocal.
