About the Program:
Second Church Nursery School has been serving families in Newton, MA, since 1934. We have long been known for our safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning through play, enhancing children’s socialization and building their academic potential. To support their motor, social and cognitive growth, we group the children developmentally.
All of our classes emphasize learning through play in an environment designed to encourage discovery, social relationships, and independence. Our daily routine offers a variety of choices throughout the morning, including art, dramatic play, blocks, manipulatives, language arts, books, music, and sensory play. Circle time starts the day with a lively morning discussion.
