About the Program:
International Montessori Academy was founded in 2011 by Yimin Chen with help from a great team and an inspirational vision to build the best school of its kind in the region. Yimin discovered Montessori education through her children while searching for a school that would offer them an opportunity to be independent, confident and academically successful. When she enrolled her eldest child in a Montessori School, she made tremendous progress in each of these areas. However, at the time, there were no schools that combined Mandarin, Montessori, and a focus on developing an entrepreneurial mind and spirit.
While we’ve made tremendous progress, and we’ve built an exceptional community of compassionate students and supportive parents, we believe in continual improvement and smart innovation. With these values, we inspire our students to be creative and flexible in achieving their goals. Together, we strive to be innovative leaders in education preparing future global leaders and entrepreneurs.
