About the Program: 
Sierra Canyon's full, five-day-a-week Pre-Kindergarten program nurtures cognitive, social, and emotional growth in equal measure. Our expert teachers meet your child where she is today and guide her to discover how and why she most loves to learn. Sheltered in a special enclave on our verdant Lower Campus (Pre-K - Grade 6), your child feels safe and encouraged to wonder, investigate, and make new friends -- growing more confident and curious with each passing day. Skill development is integrated into a comprehensive program of Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Health/Safety, Music, Performing and Visual Arts, Spanish, Character Education, and Library. Students emerge ready and eager for Kindergarten and beyond. Sierra Canyon is a private, independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory school where cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity are welcomed and celebrated.
