About the Program:
Lad "N" Lassie was designed to provide a spiritual, mental and educational experience in a warm friendly environment from six weeks to seven years of age. In addition, it is an outreach of Christian love and service to the families and children of the community.
SPIRITUAL GOALS:
To help the child develop an awareness and knowledge of God. The school will cooperate with the home in helping parents fulfill Proverbs 22:6 - "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
INTELLECTUAL GOALS:
1. To help the child develop the feeling of competence and satisfaction in the mastery of new skills.
2. To help the child develop a sense of responsibility.
3. To stimulate the child's curiosity and imagination and contribute to his development of ideas and concepts.
PHYSICAL GOALS:
1. To protect the health and safety of he child and help him to develop physically.
2. To encourage the development of large and small muscles.
3. To help the child acquire healthy habits.
SOCIAL GOALS:
1. To develop in the individual child a sense of self-esteem.
2. To provide an environment that will encourage a sense of security in the child.
3. To help the child learn to accept change and disappointment.
