About the Program:
Kennedy Family Child Care is a Spanish dual-immersion play-based program grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Our goal is to encourage each child’s activities, communication, and creativity in order to foster their independence and help them develop a sense of accomplishment. We strive to prepare your child for preschool by helping them develop social, language, and motor skills through our daily activities, and leverage the City of Santa Monica's Building Blocks for Kindergarten program to shape our curriculum. We run a Spanish dual-immersion program because it is so effective in instilling an affinity for languages in young children, and we are proud of our “alumni” who have matriculated to Spanish dual-immersion programs. Our educators are loving, caring, and trained to understand and anticipate the unique needs of young children and their families. For our ongoing professional development, we rely on Connections for Children, the Westside’s child care referral agency, and the best-in-class Education and Early Childhood program at Santa Monica College.

Wait List & Priority Enrollment Details:
Our wait list is more of an interest list. If you are interested in being part of our community, we'd love to give you a tour and have you apply. Many families come our way while they are expecting their first child. While we can't able to guarantee a spot for an unborn child, we will prioritize filling infant openings for parents who already toured and hope to connect with you after your child is born to determine whether we have space.
