About the Program:
The vision of early childhood education in the Watertown Public Schools is to foster social, emotional, and academic development among the town’s three to five year old children. Students will become compassionate, confident, and independent members of our school community through meaningful play and learning. These experiences will prepare students for success in their future education. Our classrooms are multi-aged and balanced with respect to diversity of the community’s populations. Classroom programs and staffing are planned each year in response to the individualized needs of the children. The curriculum is planned to fulfill goals and objectives for preschool children in their social, emotional, cognitive language, and physical development.
