About the Program: 
An ideal Montessori education starts right at home! Bridge City Montessori is a licensed school for toddlers, aged 12 months to 3 years, aimed to be an extension of the child's home. It is even set within the home of a trained 0 to 3 AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) guide! Our program enrolls only four to six children at a time, giving children social opportunities in a more personalized and intimate setting. Our classrooms are specifically designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of toddlers, and guide them toward functional independence, increasing their level of self-confidence. Our toddler environment is rich in meaningful materials which help toddlers learn a variety of skills including language, fine and gross motor skills, sequencing, and increased concentration level. Our children receive daily lessons in the areas of Practical Life, Language, Self-Expression, Food Preparation and Manipulatives (fine motor and eye-hand coordination). Our indoor activities are balanced by daily outdoor play (with an emphasis on building gross motor skills) and our regular nature walks! Toilet Independence Requirements: 
As Bridge City Montessori's program focuses specifically on toddlers, most children in our environment are in the process of learning toilet independence. With our small enrollment of only 6 children at a time, we are able to create a very personalized toilet learning plan for your child.
