About the Program:
At BHPP we provide opportunities for each child to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, creatively and spiritually. We strive to create an engaging environment where children learn about themselves, gain an understanding of others and develop self-esteem. Each child is given acceptance, encouragement and respect as a unique creation of God.
Our goal is for each child to develop the ability to think creatively, make decisions, accept responsibility, problem solve, interact with peers in positive ways and to nurture a life- long love of learning.
Each class at BHPP offers varied experiences in art, language, music, movement, science, outdoor play and cooking. Our teachers develop curriculum around themes or topics of special interest for each particular group. All activities are selected on the basis of providing sensory experiences, social experiences and mental stimulation in accordance with childrenês needs and interests.
Chapel is offered two times per week and provides an opportunity to share basic Presbyterian Christian concepts through age-appropriate songs, stories and prayers.
